Your InnKeepers

Chris and Sheri Riffle purchased the Wright Inn on June 12, 2019. Chris worked in the construction industry for 20 years before returning to school to become an electrical engineer. Chris has a strong passion for home improvement; he can repair, build, remodel and improve just about anything. Chris’ craftsman skills, coupled with a sincere love of people and customer service abilities, support our family venture in Asheville.

Sheri worked in government for many years at state, county and town levels. Sheri’s true passion ranges from cooking, baking, designing and home remodeling, to spending time with family and socializing with friends. She has a sincere love of baking and very much enjoys creating new and exciting recipes.

James Riffle, Son, worked for municipal government in Information Technology. James’ true aspiration is for cooking. He has an adventurous attitude for diversity enabling him to learn a wide variety of recipes across an array of ethnicities.

Jennah Riffle, Daughter, is inherently artistic by nature. She excels at jewelry making, some of her jewelry is for sale at the inn.  She had worked at the inn until COVID-19 layoffs had her seeking full-time employment elsewhere in Asheville.

Jake Riffle, Son, recently earned his PhD in Physics at the University of New Hampshire and is seeking employment in New England. However, his family would be thrilled if he moved closer to Asheville.

As Chris and Sheri were approaching their 30th year anniversary, they decided to make a drastic lifestyle change and purchase an inn for a family venture. After seeing the 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House, they immediately knew this was where they wanted to be.
