Chris and Sheri Riffle have called the Wright Inn home since 2019, when they left behind careers in construction/engineering and government to pursue a shared dream: running a historic inn together.
They’re not just owners. They’re still very much part of your stay. Chris personally handles guest calls and relations, so the warm welcome starts before you even arrive, and you’ll find him at breakfast each morning, happy to chat and answer questions. Sheri plans the menu and sources ingredients locally whenever possible, then cooks alongside their son James to bring guests a healthy, scratch-made breakfast every day. Chris’s 20 years in construction and electrical engineering also keep this 1899 Victorian in expert hands, while Sheri’s eye for design shapes the comfortable, welcoming feel of every room.
What started as a leap into a new chapter has become a true labor of love, and they’re still the ones living it, every single day.
